The purpose of this web site is to provide link in the communication chain between the Crater Lake Ski Patrol (CLSP) and National Park Service (NPS) at Crater Lake, Oregon. This site is not an official NPS site but maintained by the Crater Lake Ski Patrol. Material on this site reflects ideas of the Ski Patrol and not that of the NPS. If you would like to post information concerning activities you would like others to participate in, or comments on how to improve this site, or information you would like to pass along to other patrollers, please send it to: wheels432@charter.net
The purpose for the establishment of the Crater Lake Ski Patrol is to provide a necessary and professional service to the National Park Service. The Ski Patrol is meant to be an integral part of winter operations at the park. Patrol members shall coordinate work with the park staff in a variety of tasks. The goal of the park service is to develop and maintain a Ski Patrol with skilled and capable members, each of whom can perform standardized tasks at a minimum level of proficiency. In accordance with this commitment by the Ski Patrol members, the Park Service will maintain administrative and staff support to effectively and continually develop, administer, and maintain the Ski Patrol.
